We had another successful General Membership Meeting in Red Deer this past Saturday. The clubs were well represented but notably absent was Medicine Hat. We shared club and committee reports, approved a budget for 2018, passed a resolution to change our association name to Bowls Alberta, and learned about the long range strategic plans for our association. As usual, midway through our meeting, we had a great lunch provided by Living Stones Church.
The date for our AGM was announced: Oct. 27, 2018. The location is still to be determined as Living Stones Church will no longer be available much to our disappointment. And now….we wait for the seasons to begin at the clubs!
