Friday Evening Warm-Up
Kick off your weekend with an evening on the green! From 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday, participants will have the opportunity to roll some bowls, get familiar with the green, and perhaps share a few tips and tricks with fellow bowlers. It’s the perfect time to relax and get into the spirit of the game.
Saturday: Game Day and Barbeque Fun
Saturday promises a full day of intense and enjoyable lawn bowling. Registration begins at 9:30 AM, with game play starting promptly at 10:00 AM. Here’s what you can expect:
- Five Six-End Games: We’ll be playing five games, each with six ends and three bowls per player. The schedule is designed to keep the energy high and the competition fierce.
- Morning Games: The first three games will take place before lunch.
- Lunch Break: Enjoy a delicious lunch provided by the club. It’s the perfect time to refuel, relax, and chat with other players.
- Afternoon Games: After lunch, we’ll continue with the remaining two games.
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Following the games, we’ll fire up the barbeque and host some entertaining activities. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the sport, it’s a great chance to unwind and enjoy the social side of lawn bowling.
Refreshments, including water bottles, pop, beer, hard iced tea, and possibly some wine, will be available at no charge both days.
Sunday: The Finals
Sunday morning kicks off at 9:00 AM with the semi-final games. Winners from these rounds will advance to compete in their respective categories (A, B, C, and D). The competition will be intense as players vie for top honors in their divisions.
We are eagerly anticipating a weekend of thrilling matches, good food, and fantastic company. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the sport we love and the community that makes it all possible.
