This past weekend, the Bow Valley Lawn Bowling Club hosted the Southern Novice Championship, and it was a testament to both the skill and spirit of our novice bowlers. Hosted on August 17-18, this event was more than just a competition; it was a celebration of dedication, teamwork, and the joy of the game.
A huge thank you goes out to the Bow Valley Lawn Bowling Club for their impeccable hosting, and a special nod to Heather, our dedicated drawmaster, whose efforts ensured the event ran smoothly. The club’s volunteers also deserve a round of applause for their hard work, making sure every detail was attended to and every participant felt welcome.
The tournament saw some incredible performances and inspiring moments on the greens. As the final scores rolled in, we were thrilled to see the following teams take their places on the podium:
