What a fun event as part of the Memorial Triples, which attracted players from across the province, including from Calgary Lawn Bowling Club, Highlands Lawn Bowling Club, Royal Lawn Bowling Club – Edmonton, and Commonwealth Lawn Bowling Club.
At the Medicine Hat Lawn Bowling Club, They take pride in their traditions and love to add a sprinkle of fun to every event. As is their tradition, they played Fruit Roll Up before supper. Bowlers rolled a watermelon, coconut, grapefruit, and a lime, adding a quirky twist to the competition that had everyone laughing and cheering.
They also tried Musical Mats for the first time, a new addition that quickly became a favorite. The camaraderie, laughter, and friendly competition truly encapsulated the spirit of summer in Alberta.
The Memorial Triples is always a highlight of our season, bringing together bowlers of all ages and skill levels from across the province. It’s events like these that showcase the vibrant, inclusive community they have at the Medicine Hat Lawn Bowling Club.
