Start times for the 2nd and 3rd games each day will be determined by the drawmaster, with a maximum of three 12-end games per day.
Who Can Participate?
This tournament is open to players with three years or less of bowling experience, including the current year. It’s a fantastic opportunity for novice bowlers to dive into competitive play. The event is open to mixed teams or teams of the same gender, and you’ll have the chance to learn as you compete, with officiating umpires on hand to guide you through the rules.

Important Notes:
- All players must be Bowls Alberta members in good standing and agree to abide by the Bowls Alberta Code of Conduct & Ethics.
- Participants must not have previously won a medal in an Alberta Championship or a gold medal in a previous Novice Pairs tournament.
- The tournament draw will be posted on the Bowls Alberta website at least three days before the event begins.
